The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Vickie’s Absence Makes Brash and Sassy Vulnerable – Jack Circles Above

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) likely has a concussion on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She suffered that injury as a result of falling backwards and hitting her head. That incident happened as a result of Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) reckless behavior and could easily lead to serious trouble for Brash and Sassy.

Already reeling from the dashed DARE commercial shoot and the Cane (Daniel Goddard) mess, which was caused by Juliet’s (Laur Allen) bogus law suit, Vickie doesn’t need to be away from the helm. But that’s unavoidable now.

Abby’s outburst at the Top of The Tower party that was held after Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) charity concert was divaesque. However, sibling rivalry had been building, mostly in Abby’s mind for months. Combine that with her ongoing family and business insecurities and that drink was destined to hit Vickie in the face.

Meanwhile, Y&R fans saw Jack (Peter Bergman) recently reach out to Cane. Jabot doesn’t need another executive, but this unemployed suit has proprietary information in his pocket that Jack would like to pick.

Ever the opportunist, Jack believes that adding Cane to the mix would greatly further his damaging, toppling, or taking over a main competitor. The fact that his contemptible brother Billy (Jason Thompson) would also go down only makes Jack’s efforts more desirable, in his twisted mind.

Knowing the head of this family cosmetics company, Jack will likely send flowers to Vickie. Included in his get well wish will be the implied message that he’ll be taking advantage of her health condition in any way possible.

Cane isn’t motivated to hurt Vickie, despite the fact that she fired him. But he won’t mind sticking it to Billy if Jack creates an opportunity for him to do so.

With Juliet and Cane gone, Vickie and Billy were the last members of the executive team. Temporarily subtracting Vickie means that ‘Billy-boy’ is currently standing alone. And Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) can’t help him because she works for Jack, whose circling like a vulture ready to pick Brash and Sassy’s bones.
