The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, May 23: Phyllis Can’t Fool Jack – Lily and Hilary Spar Over Scandal – Juliet Blames Herself, Cane Disagrees

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, May 23, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will lie to Jack (Peter Bergman) when she returns to work. She’ll waltz into Jabot and fib about the nasty virus she had. Jack will contend that the weather in Los Angeles must’ve helped. Phyllis will realize that Jack knows about her little journey to Hollywood.

However, Jack is a bit preoccupied at the moment. He’s too torn by the Dina (Marla Adams) drama to worry about Phyllis skipping a couple days at the office. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Jack will wonder whether he should accept Dina back into his life or just shut her out. He’ll fear that either option will bring more pain.

Elsewhere, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will spar over everything that played out in California. Brash and Sassy’s footage certainly caused some chaos. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will do damage control, but Lily will still be concerned. She’ll believe this could be a devastating setback for the company.

Hilary will snap that she’s the true victim. Tuesday’s Y&R preview video features Hilary declaring, “That clip aired on my show. If there’s blowback, think about what it could do to me.” Lily will probably lash out at Hilary for being selfish. It’s not like Hilary hasn’t aired her fair share of scandals anyway.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Juliet (Laur Allen) will feel guilty about the confusion with the legal team. She’ll offer an apology to Billy (Jason Thompson) for her role in the crisis. Juliet will suggest that she should’ve asked for a confirmation email, but she didn’t because they were in a rush.

When Cane hears Juliet blaming herself, he’ll quickly set her straight. Cane will make it clear that this is all falls on Billy. He’ll argue that they wouldn’t be in this mess if Billy had behaved behind the scenes. Of course, Cane is the one who set this in motion. He may struggle to hide his involvement in the next few episodes.
