“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, May 16, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will face off with her mother. At home, Dina (Marla Adams) tries to get some details about Ashley’s personal life. Ash quickly shifts the conversation toward business. She also hints that she’s ready for Dina to go back to where she came from.
Dina hopes they can talk, but Ashley isn’t interested. After Ashley takes a few jabs, Dina scampers off. Meanwhile, Gloria (Judith Chapman) confronts Jack (Peter Bergman) about their relationship. She suggests that he must be embarrassed of her now that everything is out in the open.

Jack insists that’s not the case. He praises Gloria for how she dealt with all the Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Bella (Gia Poeme) drama. Gloria softens slightly and says she’ll be at the athletic club later. She hints that Jack might want to come and make this right.
In Hollywood, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) share some warm moments at dinner. The sun’s setting as they reflect on fond memories. Victoria talks about being an organization freak. Billy argues that it’s a good thing.
Elsewhere, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) makes plans for some interviews. She meets up with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and he notes how much she seems to like Los Angeles. Jordan asks if Hilary might consider making a move. They talk for a while and enjoy a make-out session on the rooftop.
Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) take a spin around town. He lets her know that he’s proud of the great work she’s doing. When they return to the hotel lobby, they spot Jordan and Hilary. Jordan pushes for peace, so they keep things civil.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will show up in LA. At the hotel’s front desk, the clerk welcomes her and asks if she has a reservation. Phyllis pushes for a key to Billy’s room, but the clerk refuses to give her one. She finally manages to pry the room number out of him.
Billy walks Victoria back to her room and she confesses that she planned a family vacation in San Diego. He’s on board with it. Billy seems a bit uncomfortable as he tells Victoria goodnight. When he gets back to his room, Phyllis is waiting for him in bed.
Back in Genoa City, Scott (Daniel Hall) and Sharon (Sharon Case) speak with Christine (Laralee Bell) at the police station. After they all chat about the crisis hotline, Christine asks Sharon for some privacy. After Sharon leaves, Chris wonders what’s up. She pesters Scott with questions about Sharon, but he quickly changes the topic to his position at Newman.

Christine still wants Scott on her team for a sex-trafficking case, but he turns down the opportunity. At the athletic club, Noah (Robert Adamson) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) grow closer through a date night. They discuss their families and romantic backgrounds.
Scott and Sharon have a date night of their own nearby. They talk about the hotline and Scott commends Sharon on how much she truly cares. Scott eventually brings up his time in the Middle East. He admits he wasn’t really just a journalist. Scott was doing undercover work over there.
At the bar, Gloria waits for Jack. Dina sits down and Jack comes in moments later. She immediately hugs Jack, which naturally throws him for a loop. Jack gives introductions and Gloria goes up to a suite. Dina assures Jack that she wants to catch up tomorrow. After she heads up to bed, Jack looks deep in thought. He ignores Gloria’s text messages as he sits alone.
