Billy (Jason Thompson) walks in and they discuss how Cane could potentially join the staff at Jabot. Victoria also gripes about Jack’s renewed romance with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She admits she can’t do much about Nikki’s love life, but she’s definitely going to watch out for Brash and Sassy
Later, Victoria and Jack face off over his latest move. She warns that he doesn’t want to do this, especially now that a relationship with Nikki is on the line. Victoria insists that Nikki wouldn’t approve of what Jack’s trying to do to her company.
Phyllis joins Billy and they debate Jack’s sneakiness. She feels like Victoria is a big girl and can handle whatever gets thrown her way. Billy still isn’t pleased with his brother. At Cane and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) place, Devon (Bryton James) breaks some bad news. He tells Lily that he wasn’t able to give Cane a position there. Lily doesn’t seem too surprised or upset by Devon’s updates.
Devon hurries out when Cane arrives. The troubled husband and wife sit down for a chat about his employment opportunities. Cane insists that Jack is very interested in what he brings to the table. Lily isn’t sure this is a good idea. Cane could spark a fierce war with Victoria and Billy. Nevertheless, she eventually notes that she’s willing to back Cane up.
Unfortunately, Jack calls Cane and says the deal is off. Back in the elevator, Victoria gets dizzy and collapses. Across town, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has a heated confrontation with Hilary (Mishael Morgan). He explodes over the brawl footage and threatens to sue her. Hilary points out that Victor (Eric Braeden) offered his approval before and after the show.

At The Underground, Noah (Robert Adamson) talks to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) about the nightclub’s expansion plans. She watches the footage of the scuffle as well. When Nick shows up, Noah makes a pitch about the expansion. He wants to take The Underground nationwide. Nick is hesitant, but gets on board after their discussion. They hug in agreement on their venture.
Nearby, Tessa reveals that she loves the bands Mariah and Devon are going to see. Mariah thinks Tessa should join them. At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) rips into Hilary for finding ways to hurt Mariah and Nick.
