The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, August 15: Mariah Pushes Tessa to Open Up – Billy Breaks Bad News to Lily – Chelsea Mulls Over a Huge Decision

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 15, tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will seek the truth. When she notices Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) seems upset, Mariah will wonder what’s bothering her. Tessa will likely offer a bogus excuse or simply suggest that it’s nothing.

However, Mariah will sense that Tessa has something big on her mind. She’ll point out that if they’re truly best friends, Tessa should be able to talk to her. Mariah will note that she trusts Tessa and she hopes that the feeling is mutual.

Tessa will probably let her guard down and fill Mariah in on her connection to Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). She’s terrified for her sister and she doesn’t know how to help her. Mariah will undoubtedly offer support and promise to be there for Tessa every step of the way. It sounds like their bond will grow stronger as they deal with this crisis.

Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) will be forced to break some bad news. He’ll inform Lily (Christel Khalil) that they’re putting the Dare campaign on hold as of right now. Naturally, Lily will demand an explanation. She just won’t understand why Brash and Sassy is ready to pull the plug.

Billy will confess that the company’s financial situation is getting worse. Times are tough and that means they have to make some difficult choices. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that both Lily and Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) will be let go. They’ll have trouble handling the sudden loss of their jobs.

Other Y&R spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will want to hear Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) thoughts on his latest idea. In Monday’s episode, Nick suggests that they should move in together. Chelsea will have a chance to react on Tuesday. She’ll definitely be thrown for a loop.

Nick will think they’re ready to take this step, but will Chelsea feel the same way? This is a major development in their relationship, so Chelsea may want to think it over. It looks like she’ll struggle to know what the right decision is.
