The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday August 1: Billy and Victoria Confront Cane – Sharon Reassures Crystal – Abby Battles Fears

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 1, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will confront Cane (Daniel Goddard) about the missing funds. At home, Cane fibs that it was for an investment. Lily wonders how they’ll pay for Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) tuition, but Cane insists he has a plan. He promises to liquidate a brokerage fund.

At Brash and Sassy, Billy (Jason Thompson) tells Jesse (Max Adler) to spill what he knows. He indicates that Jesse can either tell Victoria (Amelia Heinle) or the cops. Victoria notes that she’s willing to pay double whatever Cane paid if the information is solid.

Jesse confesses that Cane orchestrated the scheme to sabotage Billy with the footage. Victoria pretends to write Jesse a check, but she doesn’t hand it over. She takes the recording and Billy tells Jesse to get out. Once the blackmailer is gone, Billy and Victoria decide to head over to Cane’s place. When they arrive, Billy starts ranting. He insists that Cane screwed them all over, including Lily.

By the pool, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) meets up with Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Zack (Ryan Ashton). Abby leaves for a moment, so Zack uses the opportunity to butter Ashley up. He talks about how great Abby is and explains his latest app. Later, Ash gives Abby her approval. She wonders how things are going in their new romance. Abby admits that she’s worried about getting hurt.

Outside The Underground, Nick (Joshua Morrow) coaxes Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) toward the building. He takes her back to the office and urges Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to talk to her. Crystal reveals her name during their conversation. Chelsea passes along the news to Nick and heads back to Crystal with some food.

A short time later, Sharon (Sharon Case) tries to settle down a tiff between Scott (Daniel Hall) and Nick. When she finds out someone named Crystal is in the back, Sharon immediately rushes to her side. Crystal cries as she talks about her predicament, but Sharon offers reassurance. She insists that she’ll keep Crystal safe. After Sharon calls Paul (Doug Davidson), Crystal takes off.

At the TV studio, Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) blasts Hilary (Mishael Morgan) for taking Lily’s commercial. Hilary maintains that the job wasn’t Lily’s yet. She feels like she had a right to audition. Hilary thinks Jordan should be celebrating with her right now. Instead, he’s griping about what she took from Lily.

Hilary suggests that Jordan must care about Lily more than he’s letting on. Jordan admits that maybe that’s true. Hilary comments on Jordan’s need to save damsels in distress. She notes that she isn’t one as she leans in for a kiss.

Back at The Underground, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) learns Charlie is covering for Mattie. Her parents don’t know she’s going to watch Reed’s performance. Reed’s girl groupies barge in on their conversation. He makes sure Mattie gets to her seat before playing a song. Afterward, Mattie watches as Reed takes pictures with his fans.

Reed and Mattie are obviously facing some obstacles. Their different personalities and feuding parents could present more problems. We’ll give you updates as other “Young and the Restless” details and rumors emerge. Stick with Y&R to see what’s coming up in Genoa City.
