The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tues, Sept 5: Ashley Wants to Expose Graham’s Shady Side – Dina Gets Bad News – Victor Insists Nick Will Fail

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, September 5, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will face off. At the athletic club, the father and son spar in the workout room. Nick feels like Victor finally did the right thing by sending Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) furniture over. Victor insists that he was only trying to make Faith happy.

Talk turns to Nick handling his own financial assets from now on. Nick assumes Vic is mad that he can’t spy on him through the Newman family advisor. He adds that he’ll do just fine without any connection to his father, but Victor delivers a warning. He suggests that Nick shouldn’t come running to him when he’s broke.

Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) tells Devon (Bryton James) about Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) splitting up. Devon notes that Hilary didn’t share the news during their recent chat. Lily is irked that Devon and Hilary are reconnecting. She feels like he should focus on Mariah (Camryn Grimes) instead.

At Brash and Sassy, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) hears about Victoria’s elevator showdown with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). When Victoria mentions Jack (Peter Bergman), Nikki confesses that she made her position clear. Jack is to back off Victoria and her company or else. Victoria brings up the close moment she had with Billy (Jason Thompson). She thinks this could be a real turning point for their relationship.

At Jabot, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Dina (Marla Adams) bicker about Graham’s (Max Shippee) access to inside info. Dina promises that Graham is loyal and wouldn’t divulge anything. Ashley isn’t so sure. Afterward, Ash urges Ravi (Abhi Sinha) to dig up any info he can find on Graham. She just doesn’t trust the guy.

When Billy gets home, Phyllis guesses that Victoria told him what happened with Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes). She notes that she pushed Ben to make a move. Billy insists that Victoria didn’t spill anything, but he’s upset by Phyllis’ confession. She explains that she was desperate to keep Victoria from winning Billy back.

Billy’s anger slowly dies down and he understands that Phyllis isn’t completely to blame. She promises Billy that Fenmore’s is still going to sell Brash and Sassy’s line. Billy declares that he loves only Phyllis and they strip down for sex.

At the TV studio, Hilary fills Mariah in on her breakup and notes that she won’t be a free agent for long. Mariah isn’t interested in the details of Hilary’s dating life. They squabble about Hilary’s past with Devon and Mariah presents some new pics. Hilary contends that superficial gestures don’t matter. She thinks Mariah is much closer to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) than Devon.

Back at the club, Victoria tries to get Nick, Nikki and Victor to sit down for a meal with her. Nikki and Nick opt out. Victoria joins Victor alone and says she’s sorry for blowing up at him over the bridge loan. He’s just happy everything worked out for his daughter. Victor offers business guidance and hopes they can move forward without strife.

In Dina’s suite, she learns Graham has something to take care of in Paris. He vows to get back to her as soon as possible. Once Graham leaves, Dina sits alone and drinks. She wonders what she’s going to do now.

At the coffeehouse, Nikki tells Nick to live life on his own terms and be pro-active. She doesn’t think Victor should control Nick’s destiny.
