‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday March 9: Cane Struggles to Fix Crisis, Victoria and Billy Grow Concerned – Lauren Overjoyed to See Scott

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, March 9, tease that Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will welcome Scott (Daniel Hall) home. She’s been a nervous wreck ever since she got the kidnapping news. When Lauren sees Scott standing in front of her, she’ll realize that this is finally over. Lauren will pull Scott close for a long hug. She won’t want to let her son go after the ordeal he’s been through.

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will be so thankful that Victor’s (Eric Braeden) plan had a happy ending. It was dangerous to send Kevin (Greg Rikaart) on this mission, but Michael knew his brother was the best man for the job. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Michael will embrace Kevin as he enjoys this great sense of relief.

In Tokyo, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will panic over his latest mistake. He did a decent job with the meeting, but things went south after he hugged Mr. Sato (Richard Narita). Y&R spoilers say Cane will want to make this right. He’ll contend that he should talk to Mr. Sato and offer an apology.

Juliet (Laur Allen) will advise against that strategy. She’ll believe that Cane will just make everything worse. Juliet will argue that Cane should just wait and see what happens. She’ll hope that Mr. Sato will cool down and stick to their agreement after all. Cane won’t be sure he likes that idea. He’ll wonder what they’re going to do if Mr. Sato doesn’t come back.

It appears Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will also get updates on the Tokyo drama. Thursday’s Y&R sneak peek shows Billy declaring, “We are totally screwed.” Victoria will roll her eyes and let out a sigh. She’ll apparently be pretty miffed by Cane’s incompetence.

Has Cane blown his shot? Will Victoria take away all his major responsibilities now? Time will tell, but it could certainly take a while to repair the trust that’s been broken. Of course, Victoria might give Cane a pass if he manages to fix this tricky situation.
