The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday July 20: Abby Spots Jack and Nikki’s Kiss – Hilary and Howard Get A Shock – More Dina Drama

“The Young and the Restless” for Thursday, July 20, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will once again defend his actions. At the ranch, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) gripes about the concert sabotage. Nick reminds her that he was protecting their family. Nikki snaps that Nick sounds just like Victor (Eric Braeden). They debate a little more, but eventually vow to stop all the fighting.

At the television studio, Howard (David Faustino) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) ponder whether their hot footage can be used. Hilary isn’t sure she wants to provoke Victor’s wrath, but she gets a surprise moments later. Victor calls Hilary up and contends that she can air as much of the material as she wants. Hilary and Howard decide to go for it since they now have permission.

Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) chat for a minute at Crimson Lights. They discuss how things are looking up in their love lives. When Mariah arrives at the studio, she objects to using the footage. Hilary fills Mariah in on Victor’s approval and talk turns to Devon (Bryton James).

Mariah feels like Hilary is trying to get Devon’s attention, but her rival argues that’s not the case. Hilary calls Mariah insecure, but points out that her own relationship with Devon is unparalleled. Mariah feels like Hilary is pathetic for being hung up on her ex.

At the athletic club, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) determine that Dina (Marla Adams) needs to be monitored. They seem a bit concerned about all her slipups and outbursts. Elsewhere, Jack (Peter Bergman) apologizes to Dina after receiving a slap. They discuss abandonment issues and hope they can move past all the conflict.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) meets up with Dina later and they share some bonding time. After Abby exits, Dina calls someone and asks to purchase biotech stocks. At the Underground, Noah (Robert Adamson) tries to ease the tension between Victor and Nick. That plan doesn’t work, so Noah leaves to see Tessa. Once he finds her, Noah alludes to his family’s hostility and talks about some of his goals.

At Jabot, Jack and Ashley compare notes on Dina. They definitely want to keep an eye on their mom. When Ashley realizes Jack has been connecting with Nikki, she isn’t pleased. Nikki pops in later and ends up sharing a kiss with Jack. Abby walks in on them and seems appalled.

Back at The Underground, Victor maintains that Nick will be nothing without him. Nick suggests he doesn’t need Victor’s power and cash. He’s fed up with all of this.
