Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) calls the Newman family financial advisor and cuts ties with him. He wants to distance himself from anything to do with Victor. At the athletic club, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about her recent meeting with Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes). She notes that she’s going out with him again and would like to see where it leads.
Victoria confesses that she hasn’t been herself lately, but she’s open to some changes in her love life. At the pool bar, Jack (Peter Bergman) tries to score a deal with Ben. When Ben counters that he truly likes Victoria, Jack suggests that every man has his price. They manage to work out a deal for Ben to provide inside Brash and Sassy info.

Later, Nikki meets up with Jack and mentions Victoria’s date. Jack seems anxious when Nikki points out that she’s happy for her daughter. Elsewhere, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) gets updates on the app launch Abby’s been working on. Ashley, Abby, Ravi (Abhi Sinha) and Zack all decide to get dinner together.
At the motel, Christine (Laralee Bell) scolds Sharon (Sharon Case) for trying to handle this alone. Sharon defends her actions and Chris weighs in on the situation. She’s not sure this is actually a sex ring. Across town, Victoria stops by Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse and chats about her upcoming date. Nick shows up and announces that he dropped the Newmans’ financial advisor.
Victoria thinks the move is overkill, but Nick contends that he wanted control of his own money. Victoria hears a humming sound as she exits. Later, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is on edge at Sharon’s place. Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Tessa and Noah (Robert Adamson) hear what happened with Crystal.

Tessa freaks and drops her phone charger when Sharon reveals Crystal’s name. She wants to know if Crystal is really a prostitute. Sharon says it’s true and talks about the horrible ordeal. Tessa’s eyes fill with tears as Sharon explains the grip these people have on Crystal.
At The Underground, Victoria gets Ben to dance with her before joining Ashley in the restroom. When Ashley disses Ben, Victoria hints that Ash is uptight. Ashley is offended, but lets it go. Later, Abby tells her mom that Victoria has been moody lately. They hope that Victoria can handle whatever Ben has in store for her.
Back at Newman, the financial advisor shares Nick’s news with Victor. Once Vic learns Nick let him go, they debate whether Nick knows about the property bid sabotage. Victor notes that Nick usually overestimates his own abilities. He feels certain that he can outsmart his son.
