The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday April 20: Nikki Tries To Buy Scott Off – Jack Plots Victor Take Down, Phyllis Won’t Help – Kendall Kisses Reed

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, April 20, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will meet with Scott (Daniel Hall) to discuss Victor’s (Eric Braeden) memoir. At the ranch, Nikki insists the true story of Victor Newman can never be told. Scott wonders what changed, but Nikki just claims this biography could damage the family name.

Scott feels like Nikki is hiding something in particular. They argue, but Scott maintains that he has to fulfill Victor’s wishes. He’s grateful that Victor came through for him in the Middle East and he’s hoping to pay him back through this project. Nikki makes it clear that the book isn’t happening. She assures Scott that Victor will do whatever she says.

Across town, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) looks happy as she texts Billy (Jason Thompson) to call her. Jack (Peter Bergman) stops by the apartment to reveal his latest plot. Since the Newmans are obviously facing turmoil, Jack wants to take Victor down. Phyllis balks at the idea, but Jack insists this is their chance. Victor won’t have his loved ones backing him up this time.

After a debate, Jack and Phyllis agree that it’s best to target Victor through his family instead of his company. Jack is curious about the secrets Nikki, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are keeping. He speculates that Billy may be in the loop. Phyllis thinks for a moment and turns down Jack’s offer to let her in on this.

In New York, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) stuns Ben Hochman by rejecting his request for another date. He can’t believe she’s choosing to go out with Ravi (Abhi Sinha) instead. Ashley and Ravi enjoy the opera before returning to the hotel. After Ravi walks Ashley to her door, they lean in for a passionate kiss.

Back in Genoa City, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) calls Billy up to ask if he made any progress on the car. Billy contends that he couldn’t get through to Victoria. He notes that he’s just an employee to her now. Reed doesn’t understand what changed. He pushes Billy to patch things up with his ex. After Billy hangs up, he takes a look at Phyllis’ message.

At Brash and Sassy, Billy finds Victoria and Juliet (Laur Allen) chatting about the teen line. He doesn’t like Juliet’s proposal, but Victoria supports it. They step into the other room and Victoria wonders if there’s a problem. Billy implies that this is just a power play because he refused to jump back in Victoria’s arms.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) pops in and tells Juliet she doesn’t need to worry about short-tempered Billy. Victoria and Juliet leave to get drinks together. Cane seems nervous, but quickly distracts himself by pushing Billy’s buttons. They spar until Billy stomps off.

Meanwhile, Kendall makes plans with Reed while Zoey (Annalisa Cochrane) isn’t looking. At the movie theater, Kendall notes that Zoey couldn’t make it. Reed watches the film with Kendall and they end up sharing a long lip lock. Afterward, Kendall and Reed agree it’s best to keep Zoey in the dark.

At Top of the Tower, Victoria asks about Juliet’s love life. Juliet suggests men are too much trouble. Victoria echoes the idea by complaining about them. Juliet stops by Victoria’s place briefly and is introduced to Reed. Once Juliet is gone, Reed chuckles about his mom being wasted.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Jack (Peter Bergman) will get a shock. At Phyllis’ place, her phone goes off as the doorbell rings. While Phyllis answers the phone, Jack opens the door to find Billy standing in front of him.
