The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tessa is a Great Singer – Mariah Offers Noah Solid Advice

The great Camryn Grimes (Mariah and formerly, Cassie) offered Robert Adamson’s character (Noah) solid advice on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Mariah told her brother to give Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) a chance to tell him her backstory. That scene took place at The Underground when Fairbank’s voice evoked another beautiful song.

A terrific ending scene played out this week on Y&R as Tessa was performing at Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) nightclub that Noah manages. The aforementioned haunting melody back-dropped a series of images that featured various couples, both emerging and established.

One point to be made where Grimes is concerned before other issues are addressed. To have created a believable second character (Mariah) after embodying the iconic Cassie, underscores just how deep talent this actor’s talent truly is.

Noah has moved past Marisa (Sofia Pernas), who was written off the show awhile ago. Pernas’ character opted to return to Spain where her daughter’s adoptive parents are allowing a bond with Ava (Londyn Silzer) to be formed. Noah’s forced single status then enabled Tessa to catch his interest.

The timed entrance of Tessa allows Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) story to grow. However, Fairbanks has quickly proven to be a deeply engaging actor in her own regard. The character she’s been cast to play is unlike any current personality and has been tied to the main family on the show. That’s interesting in and of itself and appears to verify that Tessa is a face that will be seen for awhile.

This scribe has no musical talent, but has always been grateful to support all who are blessed with that gift in its various forms. Fairbanks, like Leabu are actually three-sport talents. Both people can act, sing and play instruments.

As the summer of 2017 unfolds it seems likely that Open Mic nights will continue to be held at The Underground. Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) upcoming concert should also prove to be compelling. But Devon’s (Bryton James) new streaming music business seems sure to create opportunities for Genoa City’s talent base to shine, including that of his newly-signed and initial artist Tessa Porter.
