The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tessa Confronts Bearded Goon – Sharon Puts Herself in Danger

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) received a text from Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Her sister advised that she was at a seedy motel and needed her help immediately. Meanwhile Sharon (Sharon Case) was tailing the people who posted bail for two young ladies at the police station.

As viewers saw, Tessa and Sharon were demonstrating bravery by pursuing Y&R’s developing storyline on their own accords. Of course Paul (Doug Davidson) strongly disapproves of Genoa City citizens deputizing themselves in such situations, but some matters call for specialized responses.

Some of these matters have ended in disaster in the past. But there have also been times where Y&R characters have helped Paul to crack cases.

Sharon happened by the GC Police Department at a very opportune time, as is often necessary on the soaps to keep the plot line moving. While there she saw two young ladies processed and put in a holding cell. They were picked up by the police at the same Night and Day Motel where Sharon recently met with Crystal.

Later an overbearing bearded man (no, not Ben Hochman, as played by Ben Hermes) arrived. He posted bail, Sharon hustled out to her vehicle and waited. As a modern multi-tasker, she also alerted Scott (Daniel Hall) via a smartphone call.

An extra visual surprise revealed a woman with long blonde hair exiting the police station with the young women and the aforementioned bearded guy. This mystery woman, whose face wasn’t shown, got in the driver’s seat and drove away with the other three occupants.

Sharon took a series of photos, but didn’t appear to capture that car’s license plate number. Then, the next day Tessa was shown in Motel room number 2 confronting the man with the beard about her sister.

Sharon fans like that she’s been written into the strong woman role this time, as she was stereotyped as ‘Miss Kooky’ for what seemed like forever. Tessa is also trying to take control of a family situation that’s obviously been looming for awhile. Together, both characters should help the GCPD to eventually shut down the criminal enterprise that’s apparently invaded GC.
