The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tessa And Mariah In Grave Danger – Kidnapping Puts Them On Zack’s Radar

Sharon (Sharon Case) is right on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) is misguided, but she’s trying to help the women who are caught in Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) criminal ring. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) don’t care what Alice’s intent is and their impulsive actions have put them in danger.

Zack Is Dangerous

Zack is one of the shadiest characters in recent Y&R history. Some might reference Ian Ward (Ray Wise) as a much worse example. Subjectively speaking he was. Zack is stone cold, two-faced, cowardly liar and that’s why he’s deeply dangerous.

Cassie’s Post Appeared

Kidnapping Alice enabled the long-awaiting scene where Clatterbuck’s character would think that Mariah was, wait for it, okay, inhale and then breathe out an eerie smoke, Cassie’s (also Grimes) ghost. Tenured fans fondly recall the show’s rightly perceived 1990’s glory days where Grimes became the greatest child actor in Y&R’s history. That was when Case became a star and Clatterbuck’s solid efforts etched Alice into many fan’s memories.

Mariah Shared With Kevin

Mariah teaming with Tessa this week followed the near-reveal that took place. Grimes’ beautifully layered sets of performances saw Mariah share her truth with Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and almost do the same with Tessa. Viewers shouldn’t conclude that the writer’s room has finished exploring that connection. It’s been back-burnered until the Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) issue is resolved.

Zack Will Have Tessa and Mariah On His Radar

When however Alice responds to being abducted and whatever information she provides to Tessa and Mariah, a target is now on their heads, danger is in the air. The instant Zack learns what happened he’ll order his paid goons to respond.

Mariah could use Ian’s diabolical mind right now. He was and is a rotten guy. But the time Mariah spent under his thumb in the cult needs to be mined. People like Zack can’t be neutralized through reasoning, or negotiation. That have to be creatively dealt with.

Zack needs to be put out of business, permanently. Hopefully, Genoa City’s growing group of self-deputized citizens fully involves Paul (Doug Davidson) soon. Honest people recognize that effective law enforcement works best.
