The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon Pursues Dangerous Angle – Will Alice Help?

Sharon (Sharon Case) made another insightful comment on ‘The Young and the Restless’. A flashback storyline has emerged as Y&R continues to write this character back to her glory days. Sharon believes that Alice Johnson (Tamara Clatterbuck) is mothering young women who are being used by a criminal ring. On that main point she’s right.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and now, Scott (Daniel Hall) are rightfully concerned that Sharon is putting herself in danger. As viewers know, she certainly is doing that. The situation is far more dangerous than it appears on the surface, as Zack (Ryan Ashton) is the leader of an underworld operation that makes wrongful connections.

As tenured Y&R viewers recall, Alice was Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) adoptive mother. In the 1990’s, Clatterbuck portrayed a memorable character who seemed to have become a pure reference, rather than a potential returnee. However, Sharon’s sighting of a woman with long blonde hair outside the Genoa City Police station revived the past.

While Alice likely wouldn’t do anything to harm Sharon, Zack’s muscle men surely wouldn’t have a problem with stopping Mariah’s (also Grimes) mom using any means necessary. The recent injection of Grimes’ current alter ego has obviously occurred because Mariah is going to become directly involved.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is determined to save her sister. So it made sense that Mariah would accompany her friend to the house where Alice is working from.

Telegraphing a coming gaslight, or direct confrontation, Tessa spoke to Alice, pushing a ruse that she was a guitar instructor. It didn’t work, which means that this duo will return as a pair, or as part of a larger group in coming days. The shock of seeing Cassie’s look-a-like could easily be used to distract Alice, right?

The tracking device that Nick smartly attached to the wheel well of Alice’s car allows the good guys and ladies to keep tabs on where they think Miss Johnson is. However, Y&R fans know that the GPS device actually shows that Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) and the goon who’s driving her are heading to the airport which must mean that a storyline punch is coming.
