The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Scott’s Efforts Against Nick To Be Revealed – Sharon Will Be Surprised

Sharon’s (Sharon Case) feelings for Scott (Daniel Hall) will be strongly tested in the near future on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Once she learns that he’s been helping Victor (Eric Braeden) to attack Nick (Joshua Morrow), ‘Shott’ will be damaged. How, or if they recover is the question.

Nick is trying to get away from his father. He’s trying to expand The Underground, has taken greater financial control of his life and accepted being booted from the Tack House. However, Nick doesn’t know the depths that Victor has dug to undermine him, including using Scott as a willing henchman.

As Y&R viewers recall, Scott readily agreed with his boss that Nick should be taught a number of lessons. Hall’s character has been covertly working for the ‘Moustache’ to muck up sonny boy’s life.

Revelations that Nick sabotaged Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) charity concert underscored Scott’s conscious where Nick was concerned. Of course, Nick being Sharon’s ex-husband lies at the heart of Scott’s problem with that man.

Genoa City fans have surely found themselves not liking the cut of someone’s jib over time. Such is life. In this situation, Scott sees Nick as an entitled punk who never grew up.

Mr. Grainger lost his father when he was young, whereas Nick still has his dad but takes him for granted. That’s a main reason why this moralizing digital journalist views Morrow’s character as ‘Prince Nicholas’.

Wait, is this moralizing digital soap journalist doing the same thing to Scott? Wink.

To-date, Scott has served as a solid replacement for Dylan (Steve Burton). He’s been upfront with Sharon about his past undercover work for the government, has demonstrated consistent compassion to her children, has put his own safety at risk to try and stop the criminal ring that is holding Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) and, most importantly, has treated Sharon with full respect.

However, ‘Shott’s’ balanced relationship will be tested this fall as the strings Victor has attached to Scott’s back are exposed. It’s not possible to project how today’s strong version of Sharon will react when that happens. But she’s known Nick for decades, which will impact whatever decision she makes about Scott’s choices.
