The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Scott Has Abby’s Number – Moustache Flexes Muscle

Victor (Eric Braeden) felt that Abby (Melissa Ordway) wasn’t being truthful with him on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But he didn’t confront her. Instead, Victor hired Scott (Daniel Hall) to keep an eye on his daughter.

First blush might see a coming pairing between Abby and Scott. ‘Sabby’, or ‘At’? It’s too soon to tell whether this duo eventually becomes a couple, filling the gap that was left when Y&R noticeably tore ‘Stitch’ (Sean Carrigan) and Abby apart for no believable reason. But the initial sparks between Hall’s character and Ordway’s offers encouragement for many engaging scenes to follow.

Abby impulsively decided that she wasn’t going to like Scott after he told her that he’d become aware of her ‘Heiress’ days. Of course Abby assumed that public persona when Emme Rylan (now on ABC’s General Hospital as Lulu) wore her face.

Though no one with 20/20 vision would mistake one woman for the other, each of whom is equally appealing, if she were riding on a certain famed horse through Genoa City.

Victor bowed to Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) demand and canceled his authorized biography, or at least postponed it. That allowed him to cash Scott’s debt to him in a different way than initially intended. Having Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) son spy on Abby makes sense, though Miss Newman doesn’t realize what’s developing.

Viewers can surely guess what will happen when Scott learns that Abby was involved in a Newman Enterprises business deal that resulted in Jack (Peter Bergman) buying a warehouse from her. Poor judgment could have been Abby’s only defense if she’d told her father as soon as he’d returned from tracking down Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

But Abby fibbed about the unknown source of revenue that Victor became aware of. Then the ‘Moustache’s’ instincts instantly took over and he repositioned Scott by Abby’s side.

Scott appears to be interested in Sharon (Sharon Case), but ‘Shott’ just started. So Y&R devotees will be watching to see if Mr. Grainger becomes interested in more than Abby’s work habits as the spring folds into summer.
