Abby clasps Scott’s hand as they share a tender moment. They eventually lean in for some steamy kisses. At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) updates Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) on Newman’s latest drama. Phyllis is happy to hear the company has taken a hit, but Jack’s only concerned about Abby. He gripes that Abby and Scott’s kidnapping story is lost in the scandal.

Phyllis suggests that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) could help them out. She touches Jack’s arm as she shows him support. Later, Jack and Dina (Marla Adams) show up at Crimson Lights. Sharon lets the Abby news slip and Dina is devastated. Paul (Doug Davidson) eventually sees Dina and makes a connection. He says the GPS coordinates of Scott’s last phone call match the location where Dina was found.
Dina tears up over Abby’s ordeal as Paul gets called away. Sharon questions Dina and finds out she was near a place called “Roadside.” Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) grumbles to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office. She’s not pleased with the new contract and the drop in her salary.
Victoria isn’t sympathetic, even when Lily mentions Juliet’s (Laur Allen) death and Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) fighting baby. Neil (Kristoff St. John) talks to Victoria about the company crisis. She wants a press release that points the finger at Abby and clears any other Newman employees. Neil thinks maybe it’d be better to show that Abby was a victim, but Victoria refuses.
Lily feels it’s wrong for Victoria to throw Abby under the bus like this, but Victoria doesn’t seem to care. She sends Abby a fearful text, but moves forward with her plan afterward. Neil wants to make sure Victor’s OK with it, but Victoria contends that he gave her the authority to handle it.

At the athletic club, Cane and Hilary talk after Juliet’s memorial service. He tells her that he intends to be there for his child. Hilary mentions how Lily showed up for Cane at the hospital, but he doesn’t have high hopes for a reunion. Cane gets a kiss on the cheek before Hilary walks off. She calls Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and insists that Cane could use the twins’ support right now.
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie arrive to take care of Cane later. They all discuss Juliet and the baby before hugs are exchanged. Lily sees Cane embracing his kids when she walks in. At Top of the Tower, Phyllis asks Hilary to cover Abby’s disappearance and the gossip queen agrees. Hilary has some regrets about how she treated Juliet, so Phyllis offers some kind words.
