The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ravi Remains in Picture – Ashley Should Go All-in

It was good to see Ravi (Abhi Sinha) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) on ‘The Young and the Restless’ together at the benefit concert and at the after party that was held at the Top of the Tower. They aren’t exactly a couple, but are also more than colleagues.

Dina (Marla Adams) has encouraged her daughter to see Ravi as a romantic opportunity. Victor (Eric Braeden) snarked to Ashley about Ravi’s age. After he learned of her sister’s potential interest in Jabot’s tech guy, square Jack (Peter Bergman) voiced his concern about legal matters regarding workplace relationships. But Ashley’s opinion is all that matters in the end.

Ravi arrived in Genoa City as the seeming frog. He was later princified with Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) help and also achieved full-time job status through his impressive technology-based efforts. Character development thus construed.

Sinha’s addition to the cast has been welcomed. This solid actor’s range lends itself to well-delivered serious scenes and truly memorable moments of humor. All soaps need to provide comedy to their audiences on a regular basis and Ravi’s quirkiness aides Y&R’s charge.

A past sequence that revealed Mr. Shapur as an opera lover provided an unexpected dip into this character’s backstory. That point alone makes him a good match for Ashley, as she’s become too comfortable with the familiar. Getting out of a rut isn’t easy to accomplish on one’s own. So why not take this good guy’s hand and see what happens instead?

As Ravi advised Ashley a handful of months ago, she’s always been attracted to a certain type of male bravado. It’s past time to try someone outside of her zone in an attempt to achieve lasting relationship success, which she’s lacked during her life’s tenure.

The truth in Ravi’s pitch not only employed good logic, it’s also testable. So, now that ‘Rashley’ has made another public appearance, Ashley should keep her foot on the pedal and see where life takes her.
