The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Noah Eyes Tessa, New Couple In The Works – Marissa With Ava In Spain

Noah (Robert Adamson) recently advised his family and the audience that he and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) had broken up on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He wasn’t overly taxed about that development, which made sense as they weren’t together for long. That’s why Noah’s interest in Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) makes sense on at least two levels.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) recently discovered Tessa playing her guitar outside Crimson Lights. That plot vehicle allowed Fairbanks to make her debut on Y&R. She’s become Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) music mentor and has caught Noah’s eye. All seasoned soap fans, or observers of real life can easily see there’s potential between Noah and Tessa. ‘Nessa’ sounds better than ‘Toah’, right?

Marisa was being developed into a major character, as evidence by her backstory having expanded. As viewers recall, Luca (Miles Gaston Villaneuva) was invented to play her ex-husband. He was also the father of Marisa’s daughter Ava (Londyn Silzer), who was living in Spain.

Luca gave Ava up for adoption because he didn’t want his family’s criminal lifestyle to affect her. He knew that his daughter was being well-cared for, but told Marisa that she was being abused. That ruse, among others was part of Luca’s manipulative treatment of Marisa.

However, eventually Luca went to jail. Y&R fans recently learned that Marisa returned to Spain to be closer to her daughter. So Ava’s adoptive parents approved of that somewhat unorthodox scenario. Of course, that played into the write-out of Pernas from the show.

Adamson is a solid actor. It’s been good to see him more often since Sally Sussman’s team took over. Noah appears to be working toward his own storyline, which is why the Tessa potential is notable.

Here’s wishing the best to both characters, as Tessa brings a fresh perspective inside a new plot niche. The unknown party she spoke to on the phone recently also adds intrigue, as she remarked to whoever about Reed’s family connections.
