The Young and the Restless (YR) news indicates that actress, Morgan Obenreder has been confirmed in joining the cast of CBS soap. Many will recognize Morgan Obenreder since she has recently been seen starring in Lifetime’s Double Mommy as well as premiering in the chart-topper NCIS and in the Netflix comedy, Mascots.
According to Y&R spoilers, Morgan Obenreder is said to be coming on board as a young girl who will calls Sharon (Sharon Case) on the crisis hotline and has an interest in exposing a sex trafficking operation that is unfolding in Genoa City.
Morgan Obenreder will be portraying the role of a young woman named “Crystal”. There is no word yet if the role is short-term or long-term.

It seems The Young and the Restless will be gearing up for a very real and frightening reality pertaining to storylines that capture and touch its viewers. Sharon is said to be deeply involved in the call that comes in and viewers are guaranteed to see Sharon finally getting her own storyline, one of quite a serious nature.
It has not yet been speculated what ties this young girl who calls Sharon will have to any other characters. Many are speculating that this new character could possibly turn out to be an undercover cop investigating the criminal activity involved in sex trafficking.
Scott (Daniel Hall) and Sharon have been dating for quite some time and many are already wondering if her new boyfriend, Scott could possibly factor into this new character being introduced into Sharon’s orbit. Perhaps she is an old girlfriend from Scott’s past or is she a victim reaching out for help? In any case, this is certainly a good storyline for Sharon’s character. No official airdate has been announced just yet but once we get that information we here at Soap Opera Spy will certainly keep you informed.
