The Young and The Restless Spoilers Monday May 8: Victor Hires A Spy – Hilary and Mariah’s Feud Explodes – Nikki’s Heartbreaking Discovery

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, May 8, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will open up to Jack (Peter Bergman) about the pain she’s dealing with. At Crimson Lights, Hilary sighs about the new woman in Devon’s (Bryton James) life. Jack hints that things will get easier over time.

Meanwhile, Scott (Daniel Hall) gives Abby (Melissa Ordway) updates on Victor’s (Eric Braeden) decision to drop the book idea. Abby thinks Scott should write a magazine article on her, but he’s not sure that’s the best plan. Scott mentions the scandalous info he found online.

When Abby looks herself up, she’s disgusted by the Naked Heiress material. As Scott laughs, Abby insists it’s a good thing Scott isn’t writing Victor’s biography. She argues that Scott would’ve made her seem like a bimbo.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) behavior will perplex Noah (Robert Adamson). It seems Tessa is hiding a secret or two. At the coffeehouse, Tessa tells someone on the phone that everything will be fine.

Noah realizes Tessa is still wearing the same outfit from last night, but she claims she was exhausted and didn’t want to change. Later, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) sees Tessa in her vehicle. She realizes Tessa is homeless.

Across town, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) gushes about her passionate night with Devon (Bryton James). He grins and suggests he wants to get to know her on a deeper level. Devon realizes the door was unlocked, which puzzles him. Mariah playfully notes that Devon had other things on his mind.

Devon points out that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) left some of her clothes at his place. He has some brand-new ones that Mariah can wear to work. Later, Mariah gloats to Hilary about how Devon blew her mind. She brings up the fact that she’s wearing Hilary’s dress, which sparks some major tension.

Once the show kicks off, Hilary talks about a billionaire who’s trying to get over his ex-wife by using a pathetic girl. She warns that Mariah could never replace her. Mariah pipes up that Devon offered her the dress. Hilary gets fed up and a catfight ensues. She tries to rip the dress off while Mariah grabs her neck.

At the ranch, Victor mentions that he saw Nikki playing on stage at The Underground. He indicates that he ditched the book as well. Nikki isn’t pleased that Victor was watching her and isn’t overly impressed by the dropped memoir. They clash about forgiveness and respect.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor receives news about a real estate transaction. He grills Abby, but she contends that it’s no big deal. Victor calls Scott to his office and urges him to take an executive position. He wants Scott to keep an eye on Abby. Scott isn’t thrilled, but Victor insists this is a way to pay him back for his rescue efforts.

At Jabot, Neil (Kristoff St. John) fills Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in on their pursuit of Mergeron Enterprises. He confesses that they haven’t heard anything else from Dina (Marla Adams) since their meeting. Ashley tells Jack and they bicker about Dina’s plans. She feels like her mother will inevitably bail on Neil and Devon. It’s what Dina does best.

Neil answers the phone at Devon’s penthouse and learns that Dina has decided to go sell her company to them. She promises to reach out again soon. Devon and Neil are ecstatic, but Y&R rumors hint that some problems could emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s ahead in Genoa City.
