The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday May 8: Ashley Gets Surprising News – Abby Lashes Out at Scott – Mariah Riding High

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, May 8, tease that Neil (Kristoff St. John) will give Ashley (Eileen Davidson) some surprising news. She’ll learn that Neil and Devon (Bryton James) are pursuing an international conglomerate. Neil will confess that they’re going after Mergeron Enterprises.

Ashley will be stunned to hear that Neil wants her mother’s corporation. Dina (Marla Adams) has been in Ashley’s thoughts a lot lately. She has some major abandonment issues thanks to her mom. Dina’s treatment was hard for Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley and Traci (Beth Maitland) to overcome.

Nevertheless, everyone has moved on and Ashley isn’t interested in more drama. She’d like for Dina to stay out of Genoa City, but Neil’s updates could leave her worried. Dina wasn’t ready to sign on the dotted line during their last meeting, but they could still win her over. Ash may be concerned that Dina will come to town to make the deal.

Of course, there’s always a chance that Jack will ignore the pain of the past. He could determine that making a lucrative acquisition is more important. Ashley probably wouldn’t be on board with that idea, but Jack rarely listens to his sister.

Victor (Eric Braeden) is also plotting a power play. Since Abby (Melissa Ordway) is the future of Newman Enterprises, Victor may want her involved in the potential purchase. Abby doesn’t know her grandmother, but this could provide an opportunity to change that.

For now, Abby will deal with some mild conflict. Scott (Daniel Hall) will insult Abby somehow and she’ll be quick to fire back. Y&R spoilers state that Abby will mention the scrapped memoir plan. She’ll insist that she’s glad Scott isn’t writing the book. Abby will feel like Scott would just paint her as a bimbo.

Scott will simply snicker at Abby’s outburst. He won’t think there’s any reason for Abby to get so bent out of shape. Elsewhere, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be riding high after a hot encounter with Devon. She doesn’t realize it, but Hilary (Mishael Morgan) was at the scene of the sexiness.

Mariah will suggest that her life was sad and pathetic before Devon came along. She’ll contend that her new beau showed her the world and blew her mind. “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that Hilary’s envy will cause quite an uproar.
