The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday July 31: Lily Makes Stunning Discovery – Nick Stumbles Across Crystal – Hilary Irks Jordan

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 31, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will discuss some of their problems. At home, Lily says she isn’t going to bail on Cane. She can’t act like this hasn’t been difficult, but she wants to heal their family. They also debate Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) motives for sabotaging Cane’s new job.

Once Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) walks in, she’s pleased to learn Cane and Lily are talking things out. Lily wants to thank Neil (Kristoff St. John) for Mattie’s internship spot, so she decides to send an email. When Lily reaches for Cane’s laptop, he flips out. Cane stammers that he’s running a virus scan, which appeases Mattie and Lily.

At Crimson Lights, Billy (Jason Thompson) pushes Jesse (Max Adler) to spill what he knows. When Hilary (Mishael Morgan) shows up, Billy steps away for a moment. Jesse uses the opportunity to take a pic of Billy. He sends it to Cane and demands his money or else Billy will get the scoop.

Cane reluctantly transfers the $25,000 from the twins’ school account. Jesse notices the money came through, so he leaves Billy to ponder the mystery alone. Afterward, Lily gets updates from her agent. She’s bummed to learn she didn’t get the commercial gig. Mattie reminds Lily that her tuition is due for school. When Lily goes to make the payment, her jaw drops over the number on the screen.

By the pool, Abby (Melissa Ordway) spends some time with Zack (Ryan Ashton). She leaves him briefly to make a deal near the bar, but they share some close moments when she returns. Abby opens up about her divorce and Zack confesses that he hasn’t met his perfect match yet. They lean in for a kiss.

At The Underground, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) backs Nick (Joshua Morrow) up on his plan to help Noah (Robert Adamson) with the expansion. She notes that she’s hoping to rejuvenate her own business. Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) shows up and offers a suggestion. They discuss the possibility of Chelsea making a deal with Hilary.

Jordan thinks Chelsea could provide Hilary’s wardrobe for shows and do some regular appearances. Chelsea is thrilled, so Jordan agrees to speak to Hilary about it. Once he’s gone, Nick doesn’t seem to think it’s a great idea. However, Chelsea gets Nick to admit it would give her a lot of exposure.

At the police station, Sharon (Sharon Case) takes another call from Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). She tries to get her location, but Crystal doesn’t really know. When footsteps approach, Crystal runs away from the payphone. Sharon is upset, but Paul (Doug Davidson) feels she did everything right. It just didn’t work out this time. As Nick leaves The Underground, he spots Crystal hiding in the alley.

At the TV studio, Billy gets frustrated when Hilary can’t produce the hockey footage. She explains that she was ordered to delete everything from the server. Jordan appears and makes a pitch on Chelsea’s behalf. Hilary is intrigued, but gets distracted by the news that she got the commercial. Jordan wonders if Hilary is really going to accept the gig and she doesn’t see why not.

Back at the coffeehouse, Cane insists that he doesn’t want to hear from Jesse ever again. Billy arrives just after Cane departs. He grabs Jesse and calls him a piece of garbage. Billy shouts that he has proof of Jesse’s lies.

It sounds like things are heating up on “The Young and the Restless.” Y&R rumors hint that more shockers are in store. Stay tuned to see all the action on the CBS soap.
