‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday May 26: Chloe’s Hiding Spot Revealed – Cane Destroys Footage – Billy Resigns, Juliet Gets Canned

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, May 26, tease that Scott (Daniel Hall) will give Victor (Eric Braeden) updates on the search for a nice concert venue. At the café in the park, Scott explains that this is where he’s chosen. Victor is on board, but refuses to open up about his reasons for doing this.

Scott asks about Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) health, but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) arrives and notes that she saw her hugging Jack (Peter Bergman). She suggests that Nikki seemed just fine. Scott is amused by Phyllis’ goading. Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) discuss Billy’s (Jason Thompson) reunion with Phyllis. Reed mentions his own romantic troubles as well.

Across town, Lily (Christel Khalil) puts off watching the flash drive footage. She later calls up the agent the says she’ll send him the interview once she has a chance to watch it. At Brash and Sassy, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Billy argue about the hockey deal. When Victoria arrives, she has big news.

Victoria explains that she was able to salvage the deal itself, but they’re ditching the commercial. The hockey league executives also want Victoria to fire the person behind the blunder. Cane and Juliet (Laur Allen) give them a moment alone. Billy tells Victoria that he’s resigning, but she protests. He assures her that it’s best for him to take the blame.

Later, Victoria urges Cane to get rid of the footage that was sent to Lily. She doesn’t want anyone else to see it. After Cane heads off, Juliet apologizes for her role in the debacle. Victoria won’t listen. She gripes that Juliet is actually the guilty party in this mess. Juliet learns she’s out of a job.

At Crimson Lights, Reed bumps into Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and buys her a cup of coffee. They exchange introductions and talk about their different high schools. Back at the park café, Phyllis worries that Victoria still wants to keep a leash on Billy. He defends his ex as a reasonable boss.

At home, Cane begs Lily to tell him that she hasn’t sent the footage to her agent yet. She states that she hasn’t. Cane reveals that the commercial has been scrapped and Lily is annoyed. However, she gives Cane the flash drive and he stomps on it.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will help Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in Louisiana. At a psychiatric facility, Chelsea unsuccessfully tries to bribe an employee. Nick gets her out of her jam and they turn their attention to a woman with the scoop. She stops cleaning the pipes long enough to offer info on Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for a price.

This lady admits that Dr. Harris ordered Chloe’s release. Nick and Chelsea realize the woman is a patient at the facility, but they decide they still buy her tip. They eventually get Dr. Harris’ address and pay him a visit. Dr. Harris listens to Chelsea’s tale and insists that he doesn’t know anything. He retired and notes that he hasn’t been in touch with Chloe.

Nick states that Chloe committed murder, which troubles Dr. Harris. He hopes they’ll pass along anything they learn. After Chelsea and Nick leave, Dr. Harris calls Victor and fills him in on the unexpected visit. The doc is concerned, but Victor reminds him of all the cash he’s receiving. Suddenly, we see that Chloe is at Dr. Harris’ house.
