The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Mariah Knows Devon Isn’t Over Hilary – Jordan Reeled Back As Well

Devon (Bryton James) and Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) remain transfixed by Hilary (Mishael Morgan) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) can see that her new boyfriend still isn’t over the host of the ‘Hilary Hour’.

It’s natural that ‘Hevon’ wouldn’t instantly drop their passionate connection. Devon and Hilary did actually love each other and it’s been obvious since their divorce that they’ve retained strong feelings. Many readers surely have experienced similar feelings after a breakup as well.

Hilary has attempted to move on by grasping onto Jordan. His recent brush off was followed by a July Fourth talk-out, where both parties discussed their misgivings and hopes at the Genoa City Athletic Club rooftop national holiday party.

Jordan told Hilary that he wasn’t done with her. While Miss Curtis briefly feigned disinterest, she admitted to being relieved that they weren’t over.

Hilary has clearly found someone who is a placeholder. Whether Jordan becomes her permanent “man”, as she tellingly told the GCAC bartender, remains a fluid decision and one she wants to have final say over.

Y&R fans were likely bothered by Mr. Wilde’s decision, as they know exactly what happened to Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon in the past. To the point of this feature, Devon has the clearest view of Jordan’s current and potential future path.

It’s hard to determine whether Mr. Hamilton is actually uncertain that his decision to split was correct, or he’s simply experiencing follow through feelings.

Mariah has proven to be a good soul. The strong bond Miss Copeland formed with her mother (Sharon, Sharon Case) allowed her to become more trusting and therefore open to a personal relationship.

While a ‘Hevon’ reunion seems unlikely, this is soap. So Y&R fans remain open to the possibility that Jordan and Mariah could find themselves dumped by their current love interests.

‘Jilary’s’ persistence seems likely, while ‘Mevon’ appears tenuous. Devon is obviously open to creating a relationship with Mariah, but whether it proves to be long-term remains questionable.
