Each lady appeared to be aware of ‘Hevon’s’ recent split. Of course, Devon’s released billions also offered extra appeal. That undeniable factor exists for all ladies who have access to this eligible bachelor, which is also true for financially comfortable people everywhere.

The potential of ‘Mevon’ (for fans who purposely lead with the female name) or ‘Deriah’ (for fans who purposely lead with the male name) to endure is desired by fans who want to see two good people realize lasting happiness. Mariah and Devon don’t have a deep history, as Grimes’ secondary character debuted in 2014. Following that fictional point, these two likeable characters have only become close within the last year-plus.

The chemistry between these two characters should lead to a lasting connection. However, Devon’s status in Genoa City and his Chancellor-linked fame will continue to draw the attention of various females. Mariah’s lack of a deep relationship history and her still-competitive spirit will likely spurn some defensive reactions when further women present themselves to Devon.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) remains a force of nature. While the end of her marriage has surely softened her emotions, she still retains strong feelings for her ex-husband. Devon needs time to move past his love for Hilary as well.

Y&R’s burgeoning couple has a chance for a resonant relationship if Mariah doesn’t sport a drama queen’s tiara. Equally, Devon needs to avoid mixing it up with Hilary, Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) or anyone else, as Mariah deserves his full attention.
