The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, December 15: Mariah Threatens Scott – J.T. Insists Nikki Will Pay – Reed Is Deceived

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 15, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will run into J.T. (Thad Luckinbell). At the athletic club, Cane notes that their kids are dating. J.T. hates that Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) giving him the cold shoulder, but Cane feels like he has a solution.

Elsewhere, Mattie’s (Lexie Stevenson) surprised by a phone call. It’s Cane and he wants Mattie to bring Reed to the club for lunch. Mattie agrees and they head over. Once Reed realizes it was all a trick, he’s not pleased. J.T. talks Reed into hearing him out anyway. They go over some of their issues and J.T. says he sees a lot of himself in Reed.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) glares at Scott (Daniel Hall) while he cozies up to Sharon (Sharon Case). She continues to shoot angry looks as she talks about being faithful to a certain type of coffee. Later, Mariah watches Scott and Abby (Melissa Ordway) leave together. She eventually drops a couple hints to Sharon.

Mariah contends that Scott’s having to try a little too hard to be with her mom. Sharon brushes off Mariah’s criticism as jealousy. She thinks she has a good thing going and Mariah must want that, too. Meanwhile, Abby argues with Scott about whatever it is they’ve been doing. She feels played, but he just can’t walk away from Sharon. Abby snaps at Scott to leave her alone.

Afterward, Mariah lets Scott know that she’s in the loop on his forbidden kiss. Scott vows to be loyal to Sharon from now on. Mariah suggests he’d better be. She’d do anything to protect Sharon. At Newman Enterprises, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) explains Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) situation to Michael (Christian LeBlanc). They both believe this could spell trouble.

Michael mentions that Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki are still married, so at least they won’t have to testify against each other. Victoria isn’t so sure they won’t try to take each other down. Billy (Jason Thompson) has a testy run-in with J.T. a little later. When Billy meets up with Victoria, she admits the audit’s stressing her out. Billy contends that maybe she can get J.T. to let this go.

Victoria wonders if Billy’s thinking she should seduce J.T. He feels like Victoria should do whatever it takes to keep Nikki out of prison. Once J.T. brings Reed home, Victoria encourages her ex to have a drink with her. They chat until Victoria drops the bomb. She reveals that Nikki transferred Victor’s money to those offshore accounts.

Victoria defends Nikki since she’s been sparring with Victor. J.T. maintains that a crime’s been committed. He warns that Nikki will have to pay the price.
