The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily Won’t Take Cane Back – Jordan On Deck

Lily (Christel Khalil) gave Cane (Daniel Goddard) exceptional consideration on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She was genuinely sympathetic toward her husband’s situation and offered him greater leeway than other wives ever world. And then he literally stole their children’s school tuition. That act put Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) on deck in more ways than one.

Cane hasn’t cited the Joe (Scott Elrod) issue and neither should Lily’s detractors. Yes, Cane gave Mrs. Ashby a second chance in that instance. But Lily never betrayed their children’s trust. So no, the circumstances aren’t comparable.

Jordan recently expressed to Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that he does care about Lily. The former Mrs. Hamilton isn’t Mr. Wilde’s fiance and can’t actually be tagged as his significant other. They have a purely electric connection. But the way in which he sees Lily might soon be reciprocated.

‘Lane’s’ break can’t possibly be temporary. Contributing factors to this opinion involve all that lead into the final soapy straw, which was Cane paying Jesse (Max Adler) the blackmailer.

Was setting Billy (Jason Thompson) up really worth it? Of course not. How dumb.

Juliet’s projected due date appears to be around the end of the year. A present in Cane’s Christmas stocking, or an eternal reason to celebrate on New Year’s Eve? With whenever the unexpected bundle of joy arrives, Cane and Juliet (Laur Allen) will be focused on that new life.

Regardless of Cane’s current feelings for his wife, or for the twins, the forthcoming baby will increasingly occupy his focus and then become the main interest in his life. All the while, Jordan and Lily will almost certainly be growing closer to each other.

Hilary and Cane will protest that likely union and possibly even pair up to try and stop ‘Jily’ (like that mashed up name readers?). But those expected efforts probably won’t prevent Y&R’s next two couples from forming. Lily and Jordan and Juliet and Cane, with whatever pair emerges first. And yes, those matches leave Hilary out.
