The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kevin Returns To Get Bella – Victor’s Interest Piqued

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) told Kevin (Greg Rikaart) that they must have Bella (Gia Poeme) with them on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That means he’ll need to leave Dr. Harris’ (Ron Melendez) house in Louisiana and return to Genoa City. Kevin’s brief appearance in Wisconsin will pique Victor’s (Eric Braeden) interest and setup the next part of this engaging summer story.

Okay, so Chloe wasn’t actually dead. Victor told Haris to go nuclear, which meant that he used some type of magical drugs to make Chloe look like she had left the earth. Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) unexpected arrival played into Harris’ ruse, which was a weak plot point. However, it did serve to move matters forward.

After waking up on the floor of the church, Kevin was mystified at the apparent fact that Chloe was alive. Some viewers, including this scribe, initially wondered if that cliffhanger was Kevin’s daydream. But the subsequent episode confirmed that Chloe’s live hand had pushed open her own casket. Kudos was earned by Y&R’s writing staff for creating a wonderfully kooky ‘Khloe’ surprise in that regard.

Kevin later told everyone in GC that he’d decided to heed wise advice and take a vacation to ‘Khloe’s’ intended honeymoon destination in order to clear his head. That means he’ll need to drive back to GC to retrieve his daughter. It was implied that Kevin used his car in traveling to Louisiana because of the stolen piece he borrowed from the police department’s stash. That item wouldn’t have made it past airport screeners.

Victor was suspicious when he saw Kevin in Chancellor Park. That was before Mr. Fisher left. Learning that Kevin returns to get his daughter and the likelihood that the ‘Moustache’ retrieved the written address that Rikaart’s character threw into the waste basket while in that outside setting, will help to affirm Victor’s hunch.

The ‘Dark Knight’ strongly suspects that Kevin knows Chloe is alive. Confirmation will alter Victor’s plans to keep Chloe contained for sure.
