The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kevin and Chloe Risk Everything – Riveting Arc Ending Arrives

It was a gamble for Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to bring Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) back to town on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But he needed to get Bella (Gia Poeme) so ‘Khloe’ could leave forever. Of course Kevin is telling everyone that he and his daughter are moving to Portland, Oregon.

A believable plot point had Chloe summoning Kevin to Louisiana, where he eventually overpowered Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez). So it seems hard to imagine that Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t soon learn that ‘Khloe’ escaped his puppet’s grasp, which would then seemingly play into this arc-ender in some dramatic way.

Savvy Y&R fans know that Rikaart and Hendrickson completed their work last month. Kevin and Chloe’s final scenes are playing out in July. Both actors will be sorely missed by all soap fans who appreciate the type of light-hearted comic relief their on-screen alter egos offered during less serious times.

Yes, ‘Khloe’ created plenty of chaos through the years. They often weren’t good people individually, or when paired together. But, as with any bumpy relationship there were uplifting moments and scores of memorable adventures.

The idea that Chloe returned to this fictional Wisconsin villa where she willfully killed Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) is incredible. But this duo surely isn’t risk adverse. One assumes their 401K statements are all-in on emerging markets.

Viewers are wondering if Chloe’s exit, in particular, will have any impact on the rumored resurrection of the Adam character? It would be hard to imagine his arch enemy not being around when he returned. Though some could rightly argue that Victor is Adam’s number 1 foe.

Michael Muhney recently tweeted that he hadn’t signed a contract to return to Y&R. That could mean the show has no intentions of either bringing him, or the character back any time soon. However, alternative recast options surely remain under consideration.

Both Rikaart and Hendrickson have said their goodbyes to cast mates and to their fans (via social media). On-screen flashbacks are now being offered as their characters prepare to depart. So now the most pressing question is; What thrill ride will Kevin and Chloe enter as they exit Genoa City?
