The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Juliet Sees A Future With Cane – Hilary Suggests Reality Check

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) thinks Juliet (Laur Allen) is living in a fantasy world on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She’s not, but it does seem like Miss Helton hopes to form a full relationship with Cane (Daniel Goddard) in time.

Juliet doesn’t have anyone to commiserate with in Genoa City. So Hilary counts as her closest confidant, which is rather sad. And that’s why she told the GC Buzz host and anti-Lily (Christel Khalil) fanatic that Cane responded well to the sonogram.

Trying to dissuade Juliet from reading too much into this, or anything else, Hilary then let it be known that Cane would never be available. That’s when Juliet relayed that Cane told her he’d been kicked out by Lily.

The host of the ‘Hilary Hour’ didn’t know that. While she was somewhat thrown by the news, Hilary acknowledged that she wasn’t surprised that Lily finally had enough.

A lunch date with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) during the same episode further underscored Hilary’s seemingly loose hold on Mr. Wilde. Jordan said that Cane wasn’t right for Lily and that he was glad she’d separated herself from him.

Jordan previously told Hilary that he cares about Lily, but appears to be giving Hilary a shot at owning his heart. However, the end of ‘Lane’ means that Lily is more vulnerable than ever. She’s leaned on Jordan as recent dramatic events unfolded and now could easily be ready to embrace him.

Meanwhile, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) has no use for his father. But Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) hasn’t allowed understandable emotions to fully push Cane away. So it will be interesting to see whether the baby is a boy or a girl, as either twin could respond defensively if that sibling’s gender matches his, or her own.

Cane doesn’t seem likely to reunite with Lily any time soon. Since his relationship with his son is broken and the connection he has with Mattie has been fractured, Cane will be primed to turn to Juliet at some point. Yes, the months leading into Mr. Ashby’s third child’s birth will surely prove interesting for all involved.
