The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Juliet Can’t Keep Quiet – Hilary’s Unauthorized Interview Is Bad News

Juliet (Laur Allen) has a penchant for talking out of school on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She did so again this week, which served to confirm that she’s chatty rather than a manipulator. Admitting her connection with Cane (Daniel Goddard) puts her own reputation at risk, while also giving Hilary (Mishael Morgan) power. That’s a very, very bad thing.

As only the self-anointed star of the ‘Hilary Hour’ and Y&R observers know, Miss Curtis purposely had one of her cameras running with audio while she was speaking with Juliet. That digital trap was set in order to wreck ‘Lane’s’ world, or to keep said evidence as leverage for a larger scheme.

Fans recall that Juliet and Cane were together in Tokyo, Japan, after a successful business meeting. Cane’s guilt about the incident has endured. He’s spoken to Juliet about it on a number of occasions. Hilary was eavesdropping while their most recent conversation was taking place at Brash and Sassy.

Later, Hilary sent Juliet a text. Based upon story continuity, savvy Y&R fans wondered how Hilary obtained Juliet’s personal cell phone number? That seemingly invented plot point was used as a vehicle to get Juliet to the GC Buzz studios.

After arriving, Hilary threw some baloney at her latest target. She offered so-called help to Juliet if she filled in the details about her sake-induced connection.

Juliet didn’t take kindly to Hilary’s obvious threat, but had already admitted to what happened. That was completely unnecessary for her to have done. But that dialogue was, wait for it, yes, a plot vehicle.

Now ‘Lane’s’ fiercest critic is armed with the type of personal information that can destroy their family. The Ashby clan includes SORAS’d twins. And why were those two young children aged by approximately a decade? Inquiring minds want to know, as suspension of disbelief scenarios referenced within this one feature now tally three. That’s a lot for one storyline that’s taking place in Genoa City.
