The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jordan Drawn To Hilary – Hevon Edged Out

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is about to learn a common lesson on ‘The Young and the Restless’. One of the ways to move past someone who broke your heart is to find another love. Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) interest is creating the potential for Hilary to do that.

The new owner of GC Buzz still loves Devon (Bryton James) and she’s not likely to compartmentalize that emotion for awhile. However, having a new man in her life will create a distraction. Depending upon how important Jordan proves to be, he might also become her new boyfriend, or husband.

Lily’s (Christel Khalil) strenuous Hilary rants were diplomatically swatted away by her long-time photographer friend. He appreciates why Mrs. Ashby feels as she does and knows that her feelings regarding Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon are family-related.

Most recently Jordan actually told Lily that he wasn’t interested in discussing his new romantic interest with her, which is understandable.

It’s reasonable for Jordan to believe that he might have a different experience with Hilary than her past two husbands did. Though that blind-eye approach could result in grief that could have been avoided. Jordan’s ego is surely healthy and in this instance that might prove damaging.

Hilary’s personality type is controlling, which she has admitted. Her theory about the Winters’ family deck being stacked against her is about to be tested. Because if she and Jordan develop a deep relationship and that falters there will be no reasonable mind (including hers) that could solely cast future blame on Mr. Wilde.

‘Hevon’ may have been doomed from the start, as Devon recently mentioned to his now ex-wife. The manner in which they went behind Neil’s back established a dysfunctional aura at the base of that union. That, combined with Devon’s enabling and Hilary’s zeal served to kill that couple.

Jordan has treated all main characters in this arc nicely since he first arrived in Genoa City. He respectfully asked Devon if he could ask Hilary out and hasn’t been a source of drama. Whether Jordan has chosen the best person to connect with personally remains an open question.
