The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) returns to Genoa City after flying off around the world checking off her bucket list with her husband, Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). She is beyond angry with her son, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) when she learns he is no longer fighting his way back into Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life and heart but rather gave in to temptation by reuniting with Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni); even moving in with her.
Y&R’s Jill is extremely disappointed in her son’s behavior and choice in women and makes it very clear to him that he will never last with Phyllis, after all, she was married to his brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and having an affair with him.

Spoilers for CBS’ The Young and the Restless tease that Billy will reveal everything to his mother, not so much in hopes of her blessing but to explain his actions. He shares that he tried to make things work with Victoria but she brushed him off and turned him away when he felt they were going in the right direction. Billy continues to explain his unresolved feelings for his brother’s ex-wife and when the opportunity presented itself, they two wanted to see if they could make it work.
The last time fans saw Y&R’s Jill Atkinson, she was recovering from a heart attack which is one of the reasons Billy doesn’t engage with her; instead, he carries on with his new life with Phyllis by his side, but are they destined to be together?

Billy and Phyllis are both super stubborn people and when their relationship is finally exposed to everyone, they are met with many nay-sayers and want nothing more than to prove everyone wrong; the problem with that is it becomes their main focus and could be the only reason they are together.
In public, they will do whatever it takes to show how happy they are, but once they are alone they need to face reality: Billy loves Victoria far more than he is willing to admit but he thoroughly enjoys the free-spirited Phyllis too. Y&R’s Billy would be smart to not ignore his mother as Jill is famously known for meddling in relationships that are not her own!
