The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Looks Wise in Dina’s Eyes – Billy Played Madame Mergeron

Dina (Marla Adams) felt very sure of herself on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Ingrained in her ego, as a result of the feel-good era she lived through, is the belief that Jack’s (Peter Bergman) experience doesn’t top perceived wisdom. But Madame Mergeron is about to be proven wrong, again.

Billy (Jason Thompson) sweet-talked his father’s first wife last week. Flashing his teeth and complimenting the target of his evolving plan as part of a ruse. In actuality he used Dina’s vulnerability to commit a crime against Jabot.

As viewers later saw, Billy went to Dina’s Genoa City Athletic Club suite. While she was in another room, he opened her Jabot issued laptop, saw her password on an attached sticky note and took a digital photo. However, he later failed in his attempts to gain access to Jabot’s server.

After informing Vickie what he did, she told Billy that the Jabot firewall was blocking him from accessing its proprietary information. He needed to use a Jabot device to gain his desired unauthorized entrance. Billy later gained access via Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) laptop after he’d distracted his girlfriend.

Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) subsequent visit to Jack’s office was intended as a jab and threat session. First, she said that the rent had been paid three months ahead. Billy already told Vickie that he’d advised his brother of that fun fact. So, Vickie’s verbal poke simply served as a red herring. She also whirled the Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) threat at him again.

Dina’s presence in the office and her digs infuriated ‘Smilin’ Jack’. She complimented Victoria about Brash and Sassy’s products and agreed with the rival CEO that both sides should play nice. Jack reluctantly went along, even shaking Vickie’s hand for show.

As soon as it’s learned that Billy committed espionage, all Hades will break loose. Phyllis will rightfully feel betrayed, because she was. Dina will see her son in a new light and Billy as the male version of Jill (Jess Walton).

Of course, Jack will tell his mother how wrong she was. As for Vickie and Billy, they’ll be smiling and possibly, bonding romantically.
