Colin (Tristan Rogers) believed that he was saying goodbye to his wife on ‘The Young and the Restless’ as he left the mansion, possibly for the last time. But is his marriage to Jill (Jess Walton) over, or just at a standstill? For her part, the current Mrs. Atkinson believes that ‘Jilin’ was killin’ her and so Colin is out.

No excuses this time. After initially attempting to explain the unauthorized removal of Jill’s funds, Colin gave up the goat.

And yes, the last word in that sentence was meant as a reference to Mr. Atkinson’s terrible statement about Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) in an earlier episode.
Jill stood by Katherine’s great oversized photo in the living room of the aforementioned mansion and swore (not like she used to do during their famous battles with the Duchess) that she would not take Colin back this time.
However, viewers will be watching to see if Jill promptly directs David Sherman (Robert Gant) to initiate divorce proceedings. If she doesn’t, or if some unexpected scenario intervenes hope for their union will persist.
It appeared as though Colin was ironically meandering his way through Chancellor Park when he happened upon a homeless man. That poor soul was wearing a sharp winter topcoat that was purchased on Savile Row in London.
Colin was able to identify the item and the location its origin because Jill had purchased those threads for him in London. The man on the park bench was sharply dressed because Billy (Jason Thompson) just donated his potentially ex-step-father’s clothes to Genoa City’s men’s center.

He and Esther (Kate Linder) boxed up the lout’s earthly belongings a few days earlier, much to Jill’s revealing chagrin.
The longer ‘Jilin’ lingers the more possible it becomes that this delightful duo somehow survives. But if it doesn’t this scribe hopes that Rogers remains as a recurring character on Y&R indefinitely. This daytime legend is outstanding and has killed in his scenes with Walton since these two terrific actors were first paired.
