The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Hilary’s Silent Scheme Worked – Cane Goes Down Hard

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) hasn’t used GC Buzz to live stream gossip about Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) precarious situation on ‘The Young and the Restless’. As Y&R devotees know, that’s because the host of the ‘Hilary Hour’ is sitting on information that would damage Juliet (Laur Allen) and prove Cane innocent.

Devon (Bryton James) believes his soul mate has remained mum as a favor. As has always been the case, he actually thinks he see’s Hilary’s good side. But that seemingly flowing river in a barren Arizona desert is also just a mirage.

One would think that various connected characters might suspect Hilary’s motives. However, the destruction that Juliet’s legal complaint caused the Ashby family, Brash and Sassy and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) surely has everyone distracted.

Behind Hilary’s pretty smile lies a scheming mind and apparently, always has. Juliet recently told her that the harassment jingle wasn’t true.

Add that reveling amount of hearsay evidence to the previously recorded interview Hilary conducted with Miss Helton and there’s actual evidence which could restore Cane’s life. That big reveal could also potentially reverse the settlement Juliet received from her now former employer.

Of course Hilary believes that no one will ever learn that she had vital information that could have helped (and still can help) Cane, along with his now former employer. Miss Single Status despises ‘Lane’. That’s why she was the one who initially encouraged Juliet to pursue a case and then quickly connected her to Leslie (Angell Conwell).

Everything has worked out nicely, in Hilary’s opinion. Cane lost his job and his marriage is peering over relationship cliff. Lily’s life is in turmoil as well.

Juliet got her money and perceived revenge. She’s also pregnant as the world now knows, which includes her frenemy. Oh Hilary, you are so outrageous!
