Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has hard evidence that can help to prove Cane (Daniel Goddard) is innocent on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Whether the former member of the Winters’ clan uses the recorded conversation she has, where Juliet (Laur Allen) acknowledged that Cane hadn’t pressured her into doing anything in return for a job at Brash and Sassy remains unknown.
Options can be powerful. Revealing the flash drive that contains enough proof to at least end Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) settlement plans with Juliet. Delivering it to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) could also swing this entire messy legal matter in Cane’s permanent favor, which is something that Hilary is seriously considering.
Devon (Bryton James) asked his ex-wife if she would do him a favor and sit on what she knows about this situation. He didn’t want her to exploit the issue by sensationalizing it on the ‘Hilary Hour’. However, Devon didn’t know that Hilary has the power to help his brother-in-law and the Ashby family.
Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) recently gave Hilary the brush off because he felt that she was purposely damaging people’s lives. So the former Mrs. Hamilton might be thinking that a reunion with Devon could be back on the table.
Mr. Wilde isn’t totally past Hilary, as he’s shown in a recent episode where he’s looking at her wantonly. However, Jordan’s interest in Lily (Christel Khalil) surpasses whatever visual interest he has in Hilary, a point that Miss Curtis has suspected all along.
There’s no doubt that Hilary would like to play up to Devon and regain his trust. He’s the man she still loves, whereas Jordan is a distraction. Devon is with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) at the moment, but that relationship is hardly cemented.
So it’s possible that Hilary will do the right thing for her own self-centered reasons. Cane isn’t aware that she has the ability to help him, but fans of ‘Lane’ and of Brash and Sassy better hope that she does.
