After some discussion, Dina (Marla Adams) happily accepted Jack’s (Peter Bergman) employment offer on ‘The Young and the Restless’. So why would Graham (Max Shippee) immediately voice his opposition? Savvy viewers likely believe that if they follow the money the answer to Mr. Bloodworth’s strange behavior will be found.
Earlier in the summer Dina changed her will, which gave her fortune in its near entirety to Graham. Madame Mergeron needs to leave the earth in order for her perceived companion to receive his bounty. Okay, that was cheeky, but is it wrong?
Y&R Star Peter Bergman News And Updates
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) recently appeared to uncover the cause of Dina’s behavioral change. Her mother admitted to being depressed about having sold Mergeron Enterprises. The scribe and all viewers also are aware of various incidents that indicated the early stages of dementia were evidenced. But we’re not doctors and are just guessing. (Though still might not be wrong.)
With however he came into her life, Graham saw that Dina was totally alone in France. Yes, she had a family. But they were estranged and across the pond in the United States.
Mr. Bloodmoney, uh Bloodworth, claims he didn’t suggest Dina sell Mergeron. Whether he did, or didn’t is a moot point now. However it came about, Dina chose to exchange one of her late husband’s assets, that she is said to have expanded, for Devon’s (Bryton James) cash. That set her on a redemption course.
Graham’s suggestion that Dina trust him and remain suspicious of Jack’s intentions was very revealing. Bloodsucker, um, Bloodworth knows that Dina could easily change her will again, entitling him to much less, or nothing. That’s ‘Greedy Graham’s’ underlying fear.

Traci (Beth Maitland) is warm-hearted. So she holds no ill will toward Dina. Ashley was understandably suspicious of the woman who once told her that John (Jerry Douglas) wasn’t her father. And Jack, well he’s been open to reuniting with Dina nearly from the start.
Dina already recognizes that Graham is defensive. If, or should Y&R fans assume when, he betrays her Jack and Ashley will help their mother sever ties with this opportunist.
