The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Gloria And Graham Share Mutual Interest – Character Dance Is Engaging

Gloria (Judith Chapman) and Graham (Max Shippee) like each other on ‘The Young and the Restless’. They also may be performing varying degrees of reconnaissance as this potential romance unfolds. Fans may call them ‘Glam’ if they prefer.

Jack (Peter Bergman) wanted and still wants Gloria to dig for dirt. Mr. Bloodworth is his mother’s confidant and eventual receiver of her loot. That reality needs to be reversed somehow.

The exceptionally great Chapman’s return to more regular Y&R status has been followed by a series of storylines that directly involve her character. The one that pairs Gloria with Graham plays directly into Chapman’s character’s penchant for exploring personal options, while also adding a delicious element of intrigue.

At this point it’s hard to know if Graham is actually a money man, or he’s simply looking our for Dina’s (Marla Adams) best interests? Based on the backstory he’s revealed, Mr. Bloodworth might see Dina as a mother figure because his own family history was mixed.

Assume that Graham is a pure blood-sucker and that he’s taking advantage of Dina’s apparently diminishing mental condition. In that instance, he would seek to gain information about Jack and possibly, Jabot.

Mr. Abbott continues to employ Gloria because she fills various purposes. Until recently, one of them included ‘Glack’s’ existence. Now that Jack has turned his gaze toward Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), after-hour meetings with Gloria are out. That’s why Jack’s initial suggestion that she pursue Graham makes sense, even though she rejected it.

Gloria may sense that Graham’s motives, if he has any at all, aren’t pure. Whether she’s considered that he might be using her for information, or as a weapon, hasn’t yet played out.

Both characters appear sharp. If used, either party would likely catch on and confront the other. However, it surely is possible that both people are simply expressing a shared romantic interest. In any event, the dance that’s begun should remain fun to watch this summer.
