The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday May 26: Nick and Chelsea Get a Chloe Clue – Cane Tries to Stop Hilary – Billy Decides to Resign

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, May 26, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will help Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) with the next phase of her search. Chelsea has been struggling ever since Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) confessed to Adam’s (Justin Hartley) murder. She wants answers as well as justice for her husband.

Y&R fans know Nick made a pact with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). They want to spare their family the pain of another trial and the fallout that would follow. Victor’s (Eric Braeden) happiness isn’t a big concern any of the Newmans right now. They just feel like keeping the secret is better than the alternative.

However, Nick understands that Chelsea needs closure. He loves her enough to take the risk of pitching in. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick and Chelsea will find a woman who could offer helpful information on Chloe. It seems this lady knew Chloe after she was transferred to Louisiana.

The woman will insist that she’s willing to spill the details for a price. Once she’s paid, what info will she provide? Chelsea will take anything she can get at this point. She wants to retrace Chloe’s steps and figure out the identity of her accomplice.

Of course, Nick is already aware of Chloe’s partner in crime. Chelsea should eventually find out that her beau’s been keeping her out of the loop. For now, Nick will play dumb and assist Chelsea as she tries to solve the mystery.

Elsewhere, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will feel like the walls are closing in on him. When he discovers Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) scheme, Cane will do his best to stop it. He’ll hope that Lily (Christel Khalil) hasn’t sent her agent the flash drive Hilary gave her. Lily may wonder what’s up, but she’ll know soon enough.

Since Juliet’s (Laur Allen) scandalous admission is on the flash drive, it’s clear that trouble is brewing. Lily is certainly in for a shock. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to fix some of the damage at Brash and Sassy. He’ll respectfully tender his resignation, which should catch Victoria off guard.
