‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday May 19: Nick Deceives Victor – Victoria Discovers Phyllis – Cane Faces a Threat – Abby Fears Exposure

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, May 19, tease that the Brash and Sassy crew will deal with the fallout of the scandalous footage. In Hollywood, Juliet (Laur Allen) faces questions about the legal team’s approval. She insists she thought they gave it the green light, but now she doesn’t know. Billy, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Juliet all debate the issue.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) gripes to Lily (Christel Khalil) about everything he’s had to cope with on this trip. Billy and Victoria ask Cane about the videographer, Jesse. Cane acts like Billy is just trying to blame someone else, but he agrees to call Jesse for a meeting.

Later, Jesse shows them the footage he edited. Cane rants about how Billy is a gambling addict. He shouts about the whole campaign being destroyed. Billy hopes he can repair the damage with a trip to see the hockey executives. After Billy heads off, Cane advises Victoria. He thinks she should go to Toronto and handle this without Billy.

In Billy’s hotel room, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) gets irritated when her beau doesn’t answer her texts. When Billy finally shows up, he reveals the ugly scene that just played out. Victoria arrives, so Phyllis hides. Billy learns that Victoria wants to visit the hockey execs by herself. They bicker until Victoria decides the conversation is over.

As Victoria prepares to leave, she tells Phyllis that she can come out now. Phyllis suggests that she didn’t want to make the situation any worse, but Victoria thinks they’re already as low as they can go. Elsewhere, Jesse forces Cane to give him some cash to keep quiet about the dirty editing scheme.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) also bumps into her old agent, who wants to meet with Lily. He offers to represent Lily and give her career a real boost. Lily agrees to mull it over and see what Cane thinks. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) discuss Dina (Marla Adams) back in Genoa City. He admits that reconnecting with his mother isn’t entirely out of the question.

Nikki notes that Jack should do whatever he feels is right. She points out that one day it will be too late to reach out. At Newman Enterprises, Abby (Melissa Ordway) blasts Scott (Daniel Hall) when he acts like she needs accounting tips. She doesn’t think he’s qualified to school her. Scott snaps back that Abby’s father handed her this job. They argue until Abby storms into Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office.

Victor maintains that Scott is going to be an important part of their team. He’s determined to get to the bottom of the sneakiness. Abby makes her way over to Jabot and updates Jack on the dating app deal. He’s on board and Abby’s grateful for his support.

When Scott’s name comes up, Jack offer reassurance. He doesn’t think there’s any chance the details of the transaction can be traced. Unfortunately, Scott is already looking into the matter. Back at Newman, he gazes at a picture of a check on his laptop and ponders it. It sounds like big trouble is brewing on “The Young and the Restless.”

Across town, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) chat at her penthouse. He urges her to find Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and get the closure she’s looking for. They share a kiss and promise to keep the continued search a secret.

After Nick is gone, Chelsea books a flight. She’s headed to San Francisco to figure out more about the time Chloe spent there. Nick goes to the ranch to find Victor and Nikki sparring again. He lies that Chelsea is finished with her search for Chloe.
