Once Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) performance wraps up, Victor gives Nikki an introduction. Nikki freezes briefly on stage, but manages to deliver a perfect performance in the end. She’s relieved when it’s all over and the guests applaud. Afterward, Victor catches up with Nikki and realizes she’s in agony. He notes that he wouldn’t have pushed so hard if he’d known.
Phyllis Attempts To Secure Billy – Vickie Remains a Threat
Jack (Peter Bergman) shows up for updates on how Nikki’s doing, but she suggests they can meet up later. Nikki expresses her gratitude to Victor for the performance. She feels like she proved herself and that meant a lot to her. When Nick arrives, Victor makes a quick exit. Nikki lets Nick know that she’s ready to let loose. She’s glad the concert is done and he’s proud of what she accomplished.
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Howard (David Faustino) continue their coverage by getting footage of the afterparty. Victor once again glares at Nick. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Noah (Robert Adamson) find Tessa to praise her performance. Once Noah leaves, the ladies gab about romance issues.
Jack gets a chance to talk to Nikki and she admits she finally feels free. He argues that Victor was the reason for all Nikki’s stress, but she brushes it off. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tries to speak with Zack (Ryan Ashton) near the bar, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) shoos her sister away.
Victor also shares good news with the crowd. The event raised even more money than they anticipated. When Victor notices Nick is leaving, he goes after him. In the parking garage, Victor calls out to Nick before he can get in his vehicle. He snarls that they’re not finished yet.
At Crimson Lights, Cane (Daniel Goddard) sits down with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) for a tense discussion. He admits that he made a serious mistake and there’s no way to fix it. Cane reveals that Juliet (Laur Allen) is pregnant with his child. Charlie stomps off in disgust.
At home, Lily (Christel Khalil) has a similar conversation with Mattie (Lexie Stevenson). She notes that everyone makes mistakes and now Cane has made a big one. When Lily explains the baby drama, Mattie is horrified. The men join the women later. Cane assures the twins that he wants to repair the damage he’s done to their family. Charlie and Mattie eventually walk out.
