The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday December 8: Christian Gives Nick a Scare – Abby’s Shocking Info – Scott Stuns Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 8, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will try to distance herself from Scott (Daniel Hall). At the Abbott mansion, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) mentions how Scott has become Abby’s ally. Abby insists the last thing she needs is Scott getting in her face. They shift gears and Abby notes that she’s got Ashley’s back at Jabot.

Talk turns to Dina (Marla Adams), who will need round-the-clock care down the road. Abby thinks Ashley needs to make the most of their current time together. Ash ignores her phone and make plans with Dina. At Dina’s request, they decide to go ice skating.

Later, Dina stuns Ashley with an old memory. She still remembers the first time she took Ashley ice skating, but Ash can’t recall it. Dina notes that it was a special moment for her. Later, Ashley’s taken aback when Dina suddenly can’t remember their fun on the ice.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, she gazes at a picture of herself with Scott. Sharon’s face transforms into Abby’s until she shakes it off. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) teases Scott as they all get ready for Christmas.

At the penthouse, Nick (Joshua Morrow) fills Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in on the name of a shell company. Alco is backing the developers on the Chancellor Park project. Nick shares the news with Sharon later and she asks Scott to see what he can find out.

Scott thinks Nick’s fighting a battle he can’t win. He’s dismissive, which irks Sharon. They eventually get into a heated argument, but Scott feels guilty afterward. He finds Abby and wonders if she knows anything about Alco. Abby explains that Victor (Eric Braeden) uses this entity to make real estate deals.

Meanwhile, Sharon opens up to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) about her fears. She worries that moving Scott in was a mistake, but Mariah reassures her. Scott returns to offer an apology and Abby’s information. Sharon passes the tidbit along to Nick, who’s furious over Newman’s involvement.

Nick finds Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises and gives her a piece of his mind. He rants about the shell company and accuses Victoria of being as bad as Victor. Victoria touts the benefits of the new development, but Nick isn’t swayed.

Before he can continue the confrontation, Nick gets a call about Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). The kid hurt himself in the tot gym. At the hospital, Christian’s diagnosed with a sprain and released. Nick’s pleased and tells Chelsea they can take Christian home now. He says “our” son when he refers to him.

Back at the penthouse, Victoria stops by and bickers with Nick again. He promises she’s in for a real battle. Once Victoria’s gone, Nick talks to Chelsea about their boys. He likes that they’re raising them as brothers and feels Chelsea’s the only mom Christian will ever know.

At the coffeehouse, Cane (Daniel Goddard) spends some time bonding with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry). They enjoy catching up before Charlie promises to visit Cane on Christmas. Back at Sharon’s place, Mariah interrupts a close moment. Sharon has pushed her doubts aside again and assures Mariah that Scott’s not going to hurt her.

It looks like Sharon’s setting herself up for more heartbreak on Y&R. We’ll give you updates as other “Young and the Restless” details and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
