‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Devon Jealous Of Hilary And Jordan – Still Hope For Hevon?

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) received an unexpected gift on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) job assignment in Genoa City was extended by Victoria (Amelia Heinle). That placed him at the GC Buzz studios regularly. As a result Devon’s (Bryton James) jealously has reared it’s understandable head for all of Genoa City to see.

Devon told Jill (Jess Walton) that the woman he’s separated from has embarrassed and infuriated him. But Hilary still held the power to make him jealous. That’s why the date offer she accepted this week from Jordan wasn’t surprising.

In this instance Hilary genuinely didn’t go after Jordan. He knew she was no longer with Devon and was attracted to her. Jordan wasted no time in moving forward, as he rightly assumes that Hilary’s availability might not last long.

Jordan smartly asked Devon if he could ask Hilary out, to which Mr. Hamilton agreed. For now Hilary is using Mr. Wilde’s interest to her advantage.

Whether that evolves into more can’t yet be known by ‘Hevon’ or others. But viewers would be right to speculate that ‘Jilary’ could happen.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) thought that she was witness to a potentially explosive situation. However, Devon told her that Jordan sought his approval before asking Hilary out. What Devon didn’t expect was Mariah telling him that Hilary said yes.

While they’ve verbally stated an intent to divorce, Devon won’t sign the legal documents until Hilary John Hancock’s the no-sue agreement Michael (Christian LeBlanc) prepared. She’s refused to do that to-date, which appears to confirm that she doesn’t want ‘Hevon’ to end and is tied to Devon’s money to a certain extent.

The choice Devon now has to make is whether to tell Hilary that he wants to reconcile, or that she’s free to pursue her own life. Legal papers wouldn’t have to be filed if the second decision is made. But the ongoing connection between this pair would surely complicate various lives in Genoa City and surely be buzzworthy.
