‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Colin Is A Criminal, But Jill’s No Saint – Perfect Couple After All?

Characters often overlook the facts and instead offer their opinions on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Jill (Jess Walton) recently acknowledged that she threw away the music box that Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) left her. Colin (Tristan Rogers) found the heretofore mysterious parting gift in a thrift store. Without him doing that there’s no evidence that Jill would have ever read the letter she now treasures.

Colin would never have been shopping for his own clothes in a thrift store if he hadn’t stolen Jill’s money. He did that by accessing her online files without permission.

Colin also acknowledged that he’d previously taken unauthorized withdrawals from his wife’s account. So he can be credited for his recent discovery, albeit with various addendums attached.

Jill violated Katherine’s marriage in the 1970’s. That’s how Miss Foster eventually came to control the Chancellor mansion.

But in a final letter, which has now been read nearly four years after it was written, Katherine has acknowledged that Phillip (John Considine and Donnelly Rhodes) loved Jill. Included in that heartfelt written admission was the now infamous emerald ring, which is surrounded by diamonds.

Those who claim Jill as a victim in this scenario might not be aware of her history or are defaulting to male-bashing in tagged Colin as the only lout. Those who claim Colin has righted his wrongs are choosing to skip over his latest act of morally bankrupt, criminal behavior. Is it fair to say that Jill and Colin share similar personality traits and that’s the main reason why their union exists? Yes. However, that would also only be an opinion.
