The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe’s Letter Complicates Lives – Bella’s Paternity Affects Billy and Kevin

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has managed to create trouble even though she’s not even in Genoa City on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She dropped a letter on Billy (Jason Thompson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart), the contents of which contained bombshell information about Bella (Cali May Kinder).

Both men are in the running to be this little girl’s father. She’s recently been abandoned by her wacky mother and is currently being raised by her grandmother Esther (Kate Linder) in the Chancellor mansion. If Billy is her dad she’ll remain there. If Kevin has the honors, she’ll likely be moving to his house.

Billy is the most likely dad. Chloe stole his genetic material before leaving GC three years ago and then had herself artificially inseminated. Overpowering grief had warped her mind to the point that she wanted to create another child that came as close to Delia (Sophie Pollono) as possible.

Chloe’s plan could only be accomplished if Billy sired her second child. But there was a problem. He wasn’t romantically interested in her the first time they were together, as Vickie (Amelia Heinle) had long been his love. So he was never going to agree to help Chloe attempt to work through her pain by creating a replacement child with her.

‘Khloe’ was still together prior to the time Chloe left for the California mental institution. The then-twice married couple experienced a last romantic encounter before she left. While the math isn’t exact in this instance, it was plausible to believe that Kevin was Bella’s dad. That’s why Kevin requested a paternity test be conducted last year when Chloe returned to town.

Yes, the results of the aforementioned test stated that Kevin wasn’t the father. But soap opera fans and daytime drama characters rightfully put nearly no trust in the human beings who handle said tests due to many past manipulations.

Billy might raise Bella with Phyllis’ assistance, based upon his recent rejection of Vickie’s offer to move toward reconciliation. Kevin just had his marriage to Chloe explode. Yes, that was a reference to what Miss Mitchell did to the cabin Adam (Justin Hartley) was residing in last September.

Kevin would need Esther’s help and possibly that of his friend Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to raise his daughter if he’s pegged as Bella’s dad. Of course when either man learns that he’s not the dad an impact will be felt as well.
