Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was willing to allow Victor (Eric Braeden) to help her on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She actually had no option but that. However, Chloe decided to break away from the ‘Moustache’ again.

Much to Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) surprise, but likely not to Y&R’s savvy audience, Chloe pushed open her casket because she never died. Kevin fainted and the scene proved not to be a delusion, or a dream sequence. Yes, this wild character was resurrected and this terrific actor wasn’t gone.
Victor told Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) to invoke the nuclear option recently. A follow-up series of flashback scenes in a later episode informed viewers exactly how Chloe’s death was faked. Rather ingenious. Who knows how Victor concocts these schemes, but they do work.
The idea that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) happened to weave their way to the doctor’s house was somewhat of a stretch. But this is soap, so that was plausible. From a fictional point of view, when Nick learns what happened he’s sure to explode. He’s right to always remain on guard whenever Victor is connected to anything.
Faking Chloe’s death through some type of voodoo drug? That was outrageous. Nevertheless, this is escapist entertainment not a documentary on prescription drugs. Okay Y&R, but an emoji has been posted on your social media pages. That round face has a raised eyebrow and a scrunched corner of its lip as well.
The idea that Kevin is going to take Chloe and that the two of them are going to run off together and then do who knows what is as incredible as this run-on sentence. However, the other great actor who comprises ‘Khloe’ is completing his final scenes this month. They’ll appear in August, which means that the Chloe escape plan will be played out by then, at the latest.
Purely as an aside to readers now. This scribe values likeable actors and engaging characters, just like all of you. That’s why he’ll miss Rikaart and Hendrickson, if she’s leaving as well.
Great soap happens when solid scripts are delivered by consistent actors. Here’s looking forward to a worthy climax and write-out later this summer.
