Victor (Eric Braeden) is absolutely denying Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) access to proper mental health care on ‘The Young and the Restless’, or so some twisted minds would think. Just when it appeared as though the ‘Moustache’ might be turning a corner, he’s reconfirmed that many cynic’s assumptions were correct.

Y&R viewers are familiar with a particularly invasive belief that has been pushed into the modern world by those who have deeper social agendas. People are being encouraged to discuss all of their private health matters, along with those of others, under the ruse of an insurance debate.

So, Victor paid Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) cash to take care of Chloe. Therefore, he lessened the tax-payer’s financial burden.
There are many matters that can be addressed within the storyline viewers are being asked to digest.
Let’s start with the fact that Victor gave Chloe an envelope of money and basically told her to disappear after she apparently arrived in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Fans assumed that happened, but were wrong because they’d been denied access to the whole story.
A misleading plot point was addressed this week during one of Victor’s numerous daytime reflections about the recent past. Basically he bribed a duplicitous doctor to allow Chloe to leave a secure facility last year. Dr. Harris, who looks to be in his 30’s, then retired. Melendez’ character was later paid by Victor to keep Chloe hostage. But what would be the endgame in this instance?
Devoted Y&R fans know that the current storyline was invented to resolve one-half of the Adam (Justin Hartley) write-out mystery that was presented by the past writing regime last September. Chloe recently admitted that she’d blown up the cabin Adam was staying in, which in soapland doesn’t mean that he’s actually dead.
No matter what happens to Chloe, whether she reunites with Kevin (Greg Rikaart) this summer or if the Adam slot is recast, one key question surely remains in the minds of all soap fans. Did Victor pay Dr. Harris with a wad of cash because he knew that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) had already canceled Chloe’s health insurance? That’s what this storyline is really about, right (left)?
